\Gaze\, v. i. [imp. & p. p. {Gazed}; p. pr. & vb. n. {Gazing}.] [OE. gasen, akin to dial. Sw. gasa, cf. Goth. us-gaisjan to terrify, us-geisnan to be terrified.
